We don't make a ritual out of spring cleaning. We are, however, starting to declutter some of the hides holes holding junk out of sight, like our teenager's preschool videos. It's dusty work.
I do a spring cleaning. It involves a deep clean of my apartment, but mostly it is when I go through my clothes and all the paperwork I have hoarded over the year and get rid of what I don't need anymore.
yes, I do its so necessary
I spring clean my home by cleaning windows and floors, decluttering and donating items I don't use anymore.
I Spring Clean my house by cleaning out the closets and donating unwanted items, shampoo the rugs, wash windows, and clean all the winter blankets.
Yes, we do spring cleaning. It mainly involves decluttering and donating things we no longer need.
I do a minor spring cleaning of getting rid of the things I've been meaning to. I typically switch the bedding out as well in anticipation of the warmer weather.
I spring clean my home. I like to donate clothes I haven't worn in the past year. I also like to shred old paperwork. Then there's just general decluttering.
Yes, I definitely do
We do spring cleaning all year round :) We try to do a deep cleaning every six or ten weeks, otherwise the furballs start to outnumber the humans!
Yes we spring clean, especially the garage and pantries/closets.
I do spring clean, though I'm not a big fan of the process because it can seem so time consuming. I try to break up the cleaning into smaller tasks and think about the most efficient way to do things, like dust first, then vacuum. Getting rid of clutter first also helps make cleaning easier and faster
first thing i do is something that is literally and figuratively making me see clearer: i clean the windows. mainly inside but if possible, outside too. it's my first go to. then i declutter and organize in general. and definitely put away winter things i may still have out.
Yes, every year I Spring clean. I have a list of things I want to do like de-cluttering as I clean everything. Then I make a list of things I need to replace, repair, and create a budget.
This year will be the first year I spring clean my home. I'll be starting by doing a deep clean and rearraging of my bedroom!
Yes, I do Spring cleaning every year. I have already started my Spring Cleaning for Spring is coming early this year.
I will be doing a deep cleaning of my home this spring because I am moving!
Sort of -- we "quarterly clean" our home. Each quarter, we do a big deep clean and pitch anything unnecessary.
We dont spring clean we just try to keep the place as clean as possible throughout the year
Absolutely! Top to bottom, every room including the garage!
Not really. I try to clean windows inside and out, wash curtains and do a general declutter though.
Yes, I always do. I like to use it as a time to clean out my closets, etc.
I don't do spring cleaning. I just randomly will deep clean an area when I am in the mood.
I blend a bit of extra cleaning in when spring starts, mainly to get to the things I couldn't do when it was cold and dark outside in the winter.
Yes we do a deep cleaning every spring.
No, we don't really spring clean. But we probably should! We certainly de-clutter, change out winter blankets and clothes, but I think adding things like cleaning the windows and carpets should be added to our list.
Yes! Washing curtains, cleaning places you forget about. It helps!
My general rule of thumb seems to be if I must crawl over anything to get out of my front door, I clean it -- spring or not. When one has two dogs, every month of the year is spring.
Yes! I'm always sorting, purging and organizing year-round but I add extra vacuuming and dusting in those hard to reach places. My number one priority on the first nice weather day is to open all the windows and doors and air out the house! Always feels like Spring on that day! :)
sometimes i do spring clean. usually when the weather is better.
I don't necessarily do a deep clean, but I usually take the opportunity to go through my closets and get rid of clothes that I have not worn. It's nice donating items to those in need!
We do spring clean! Some of the major areas for us are the closets and cabinets. It's so easy for things to get lost or forgotten so doing a seasonal overhaul is always a great idea!
Yes every spring I do a deep cleaning and my daughter helps me
I spring clean by cleaning the house and gathering items to donate.
yes and I spring clean outside too
I used to help my mom spring clean, but I don't do my own house b/c I don't have any time off. My mom taught school, so she would spring clean the first week of her summer break. I so should have become a teacher!
I moved to a smaller place in 2014 and got rid of a lot of stuff to do so. No reason to spring clean these days.
I don't do spring cleaning
Yes I do a spring cleaning where we move the furniture and clean under it
We do a cleaning in Fall and Spring, and we go to Red Robin for a reward.
I do try to at least do a closet clean-out and donate the cold weather clothes that I didn't wear during the winter season. I also try to tackle home maintenance projects that I've been putting off.
No. I just have that sinking feeling that I ought to....
Yes every year I do a spring cleaning and clean the cabinets, closet furniture and appliances
Only in the manner that it finally gets nice enough to open the windows so I don't get overwhelmed with dust or cleaner fumes!
Yes we do a light spring cleaning and get rid of some things we don't use anymore.
Yes i do a spring cleaning and change all the bedding as well
Yes, I spring clean my own home. I've been doing it for over 40 years and also for a cabin rental agency for 4 years in a row. I consider myself an expert!
Yes, I spring clean. I do the windows and the glass on the outside doors, do some deep cleaning in the rest of the house, and also go throughout the house gathering up items to donate or sell in a yard sale. I also rake the yard, get the raised beds ready for planting, and clean the garage.
Some tips: When I rake the yard, I gather up the sticks to build "cages" for my raised beds. I also use them under my window boxes to lift up the liner boxes to the right height. The willow branches make lovely arches along the back of the window boxes also.
I do a few special cleaning things in the Spring.
I attempt Spring cleaning, but never fully finish! Maybe this year I'll pay my daughter to help me. I really need to declutter my closets.
We try, but some years it's just not practical to do one mass-cleaning.
Yes! I love spring cleaning. It's great to finally be able to open up the windows and get fresh air flowing in the house. I try to use a lot of home made products (baking soda, vinegar, and lemon are amazing!) and tackle a little at a time. There's a lot of deep cleaning of floors, windows, and bedding and I also wash all of my winter clothes before storing them away for the season.
Absolutely! If you wait until summer, it's too hot to do the tough stuff!
Hi, I try to spring clean my home and my life, but sometimes the task can be overwhelming. I think if I categorize the cleaning into items vs rooms or closets it's easier for me. For example, I may go through the house and organize all my files and papers, then my clothes, then make-up, etc. Also, if I plan a day or two to do it and get it all done it keeps me from procrastinating, otherwise something will always pop up to distract me.
This year I am hiring a company to come in and do a big cleaning.
Sort of. We clean as needed usually.
We try to do a deep cleaning for a different room every month and do maintenance cleaning for the other rooms
I do spring clean my home.
