I will be giving the gift of time for Father's Day
Hoping to take my Dad out to dinner with the entire family. I'll probably get my Dad a gift as well, but it's more about spending time with family.
One of the ways I am showing appreciation this Father's Day is by sending my father personalized Coke bottles with his name on it. I searched and searched for those bottles and it paid off. I also sent him a heartfelt card. We are big on gifts but I know he will love the card.
I show appreciation to him regularly by telling him how his teachings and advice to me over the years influence my current decisions. I know he gets a kick out of that.

I'll give my dad a call. He's far away and staying in touch is the best way of expressing love.
A few weeks ago I bought my father a picture while it was on sale and just saved it for Father's Day!

I'm visiting my dad and getting him a gift card to his favorite restaurant
I am showing my appreciation this Father's Day by taking my dad to a game to support his favorite team.
I live many thousands of miles away, so a card and a call will have to suffice. However, I'll visit him after the Financial Blogger Conference in September, and will make him his favorite dessert: my great-grandmother Ruby's rice pudding.
I don't have a father in my life to celebrate, but my daughter usually has a bbq for her husband and we join in the celebration.
We bought he a best dad shirt and will go bowling then a big steak dinner with the family.
My dad and I are going to the comic book convention we always go to this time of year. It's really fun for both of us to spend the day together.
My dad died many years ago. He will be in my thoughts on Father's Day.
I am going to visit him and get him a nice gift.
My husband gets his favorite dish--fettuccine al fredo, which I rarely make for obvious reasons. When our kids were small, we loved the special projects and handmade cards they brought from school. Now that they are grown, we care very little about Mothers and Fathers Day. Happily, our adult kids are loving and appreciative enough throughout the year, without the artificiality of a special day. And they should save their money instead of buying things for us.
My hubby usually chooses and ice cream sundae for his Father's Day treat, but this year it's a pie! He loves blueberry pie, so that's what we're getting him. My dad? He'll get a nice phone call and maybe some of that pie!
I am making my husband his favorite meal and giving him chocolate and pictures of his little girl. I made my dad a custom photo mug with pictures of his granddaughter on it that reads " I Love Grandpa"!
Send a balloon up to my dad in heaven
My dad is no longer around but we will be visiting him at the cemetery and bringing him balloons and flowers
