We will be moving to a new house next month and my goal this year is to keep things organized. Now that I'm packing up for our move, I can't believe how much junk we've held onto. I definitely want to keep that in check from now on.
I am going to exercise 5 days a week, by having an exercise buddy-friend do this with me to help me keep on track! It is great to have a friend doing this with me-getting in shape.
My goal is to exercise more.
I want to continue to build my emergency savings and start saving toward a down payment on a house.
My goals for 2015 are to update and revamp our budget, save more efficiently and clean out our storage, time to downsize :)
Oh so many: 1) to continue paying down debt, 2) to keep adding a little more to emergency fund, 3) to lose weight and get in better shape, and 4) to travel more. I'm just taking it one day at a time right now and trying to make smart choices on spending/saving, diet and exercise. It's hard since I have never had much willpower, but I started working on all of these goals toward the end of 2014 and am just going to keep plugging away!
The most important things for me is to bring my kids over here with me, and blind a good life for them and pay all my credit cards, and buy a house, and have a career and happy life,
I would like to try one new and different thing every week - it could be a new restaurant, a different library, an art exhibit or lecture - and the list goes on.
My goal is to sell my house and use the proceeds to buy a sailboat that we'll live aboard.
It's a big goal with lots of tiny steps.
My goals for the new year our to budget my money to save more and spend more time with friends!
Home school my 16yo son to the point where he will take his GED & go to college. I want to reorganize my tiny rv so i can hit the road for awhile when he does!
Purge my house, put dishes directly into the dishwasher, start law school.
My 2015 goals are to sit less, move more and practice this every day. Big or little - it all adds up to better health.
My goals for 2015 are to travel more often, move more, and eat healthy foods.
Where to start....hmm...lose 10 lbs, increase my savings, and start weight training with hand weights. Very doable!
My goal is to spend less on non-essentials, so we can get a lot of work done on our house this year.
I want to eat less fast food in 2015!
Pay off my student loans! I hate them with a passion.
my financial goal is to keep the savings amount the same. we're 1-income family of 2 about to become 3...
1. Get rid of this 20 pounds of divorce fluff by getting back to normal meal portions.
2. Continue to work towards my goal of becoming debt free by 2018.
3. Find love.
4. Continue to have fun trying new things and traveling new places.
I want to pay off our extended financing home improvement credit before we owe interest.
My goal for 2015 is to work more on a personal project and spend less time chasing freelance assignments. Here's hoping.
My theme for 2015 is 'mindfulness' which is something that impacts many aspects of my life, including spending, eating, and keeping emotionally healthy. Focusing on this theme helps me slow down when making financial decisions and helps me figure out whether or not I really 'need' something or if I'm just being impulsive or reactive. To hold myself to this standard I found an inspirational quote and made it my phone screen saver. This means that I'm constantly reminded of my goals throughout the day which keeps it top of mind.
I have three categories:
1. Personal development aka be a better and more productive person
2. Financial growth - more savings and investment
3. Freelancing - more clients=more income
Actually, I made a detailed blog post about then. Check it out: https://dreamsaregoals.wordpress.com/2014/12/30/goals-for-2015/
Get rid of 10 things a day!
Lots of goals, but the biggest one is paint our house, including all the trim and doors from cream to white.
My goal is to add to my emergency fund.
I want to save more money this year. I'll be turning 25, so I really want to get an IRA opened before then. I know I should have opened one before this, but I definitely want to do it now.
Increase the amount of principal paid on our mortgage from last year by 10%. We already are paying a significant amount extra but the additional would really raise the bar. :-D
My main goal is to not procrastinate as much. It has been a problem since forever and I'd like to actually stop doing that for longer than a week or two this time. ;)
I have two goals for 2015. (1) Save $1,000 extra toward a week's vacation in 2016. Our daughter and son-in-law will vacation in Hawaii next year and want us to go with them (we help with child-tending, which we love, and they pay for our lodging). (2) Move more. My target is 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise, 5 times a week. I actually started in mid November and have worked up to this from 3 days a week. I've put in place some measures to help ensure I reach this objective. I track activity on the American Heart Association's free activity tracker and I check in with a wellness coach from Kaiser once a month (up from once a week for the first month). Now I need similar accountability measures for the savings objective!
My goal is to use Yoga to lead a healthy life with the help of YogaMihi..
My goal is to build-up my savings account and work harder to bring in more clients to my graphic design business this year.
My daughter is a sophomore in high school. College is looming in the near future. I would like to save more money in 2015!
My goal is to pay off as much of my student loan debt as possible - on an irregular income.
I also plan to hike in all seventeen metro parks around the city.
To lose 10 pounds before my wedding in August!
My goal for 2015 is to learn to cook healthier for my family on a budget! I have so much to learn about food and ingredients! I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free, and so almost every night I cook two meals..one regular and one gluten free. In 2015 I really learn whats healthy and whats not for ingredients!
My goals are to try and lose 25# more this year (I lost around 30# last year). I also want to save enough money to get our house resided, and to have extra in savings, too. I also want to have all of our animals up-to-date on vet appointments, shots and medicines (we have a lot of pets!).
Track grocery spending and write it down with every purchase. Lose 15 pounds by June 2015.
My goal for 2015 is to move forward in my life. A lot of things were put on hold in 2014, or did not change for the better. I'm determined to be able to buy our next house, after waiting to try and sell our last home (didn't sell, currently renting it out). Since we have no equity (grr) to carry over from our last house, we're working to save everything we can in order to have a decent down payment. I'm so very tired of renting.
Well, for 2014 it was to get $10000 into an emergency savings account. Since that didn't happen I guess I'll have to stick to that goal.
To get up to speed at my new job
This year, we will try to find the best way to afford college- once our child is accepted. Right now, we're filling out scholarships and crossing our fingers on those. We believe a student loan will need to be done as well as any scholarships directly from the college. That will be our biggest challenge.
I have a bunch of new goals. We renovated our house and are moving back in soon, so my goals revolve around organizing and finances (to pay off renovation costs). I also have an eat better goal, which is mostly to get back on track from holiday season.
My goal this year is to read through my Bible. Working on that. Otherwise, we're going to London/Paris this year and we're excited about our first family overseas trip!
Carry a baby to full term with a max of 20 lb. weight gain. (Dr. recommended)
My goal is to be happy & grow more veggies in my garden.
- Help my husband get at least two YouTube videos done to publicize Charlemagne Beard Oil.
- Clean out my art/craft/sewing studio and make it functional!
- Organize and add keywords to my 15,000+ photos on my new iMac
- Get Dad's website up and running for his custom furniture business
- Grow 200 pounds worth of food this summer
Nothing about $ this year--I've been thinking about it too much as it is! (Ok, get the mortgage to half-way done.)
I want to get in shape, save more money, and de-clutter my entire house.
2015 is our year to pay off those pesky student loans! While I earn a biweekly salary, my husband earns a decreasing salary and fluctuating monthly commissions. Our plan is to live off of our salaries and use his commissions to pay off $11,800 in student loans. I divided the P+I into 12 monthly payments and resulted in a reasonable commissions goal.
By Jan. 2016 we should have eliminated our student loans and have only a $3,000 car loan to tackle. Cheers to everyone and their goals!
I"m hoping to retire within the next couple of years, so in addition to the money I am saving in retirement accounts I am building up my cash and taking care of projects around the house.
To think, speak and live more positively.
I want to run my first 5k this year. I need to continue running daily and not lose sight of my goal.
Pay off my husband's truck and half of our credit card debt. Total $12057 on a $41000 income.
My goal is to get my son potty trained. I figure I can handle one goal and that is the most important thing I need to do.
My Goal is to become more financial independent and reduce my credit card debt. To create a budget and stick to it, and to cut down on my food spending.
To live more in the moment, instead of always thinking and planning ahead.
One of our biggest goals is to learn how to save with the little bit that we do have. We will do this by using coupons and getting better about watching sales at the grocery store, as that is where most of our money is spent.
My goal for 2015 is to buy a new house
I would like to become a better meal planner. I want to eat healthy and save more on my groceries.
