I have two resolutions... Lose 10 pounds (lost 20 in 2013!) and pay off at least $30k of student loans. I have lots of other small goals, and would like to read 2 books a week, but the first two are most important to me.
To not procrastinate. It would take so much stress of of me to have things done ahead of time and not be running around at the last minute taking care of details (like I am doing today!!).
My resolution this year, as in all years, is to eat better and exercise more. Hopefully this year will be more successful because my husband has the same resolution and we can encourage one another.
Yikes...I have so many! First is to save more money. My budget is pretty tight now, but I'll try to improve. I want to exercise more- I plan to add an extra 30 minutes of light weights before work in the morning. I am also going to bring order to my health care- I'm good with going for my yearly recomended tests, but need a general doctor to pull it all together. I MAY try for a part time job also. Happy holidays!
I know 'lose weight' is over-done so this year I vow to get organized!!!!
My resolution is to exercise more often
I have three resolutions for 2014:
1) Weigh 180 lbs
2) Fully fund my emergency account
3) Star a side hustle
My New Year's resolution is to save more money and find a better paying job!
1. Intentional Parenting - being present
2. Verbally love my husband more.
3. Take classes, even if it's just learning a new craft or language.
4. Start working again and begin saving.
Exercise more, eat healthier, save more. Same resolutions as every year. Maybe this year they'll stick.
It'd be nice to not have any kind of payments in 2014! I resolve to pay off my cc's for 2014!
I'm resolving to continue to work smarter, not harder. Instead of taking every job that comes my way (and being tired all the time), I'm going to pick my spots. If I don't take time to smell the roses now, then when???
My resolution for 2014 is to eat fewer prepared foods. Meeting this goal will probably result in saving money and losing weight.
I want to tone up in 2014!
To get a new job.
I'm resolving to re-start my daily walking plan, as I've gotten off track lately. Also to finish cleaning out the attic before it gets hot again, and to clean out our storage unit. That's as far as I've gotten so far!
I will give any extra food in my pantry to the community food bank.
I don't make resolutions for the new year. I just make decisions throughout the year. I became a vegetarian in April of 2013, started tracking what I ate, ate better, and lost 30 pounds. And now for 2014 I have a motto: Save More, Be Positive, Live Well. And I have a budget to stick to that's helping, and got rid of some bad things in my life that were holding me back.
I resolve to organize my closets, drawers, pantry, etc. to better use the items I already have.
Use the navi less and maximize my time.
My resolution is to pay off my student loans.
I want to eat less fast food!
My only resolution is to be in a better place than I am now by this time next year.
I have one really important resolution for 2014... find a permanent full-time job.
My 2014 resolution is clear all my debt and start rebuilding my emergency fund.
I would love to de clutter my house!
2014 Resolution:
- Husband and I are newlyweds, so we want to build our credit.
- Our budget starts January 1, so I'm resolved to stick to it!
- Save about $30,000 this year towards a house
All very optimistic goals, but I feel like this year will be a good one!

New Year's Resolutions:
1. Learn coding and website design
2. Increase work effectiveness by maximizing profits per hour, reducing hours worked
3. Continue earning 20-30% on investments...perhaps starting a small investing company in the near future
4. Further reduce my monthly expenses from $2,800 to $2,000 to invest a greater percentage of income
5. Design and launch 1 app and 1 website
To lose weight (again) this year!
To give up soda. I'm not a coffee drinker but as I've gotten older I've been relying on the caffeine to make it through the day. So come Jan. 1st, no more soda (regular, diet, or otherwise) for me.!
Get Fit and spend more quality time with family, travel more
My resolution is that I am able to exercise more because I have been lazy as of late and gained pounds. By exercising, I will have something to do besides playing video games, watch sports and write fanfiction
My New Year's Resolution is to not get caught up in resolutions and live my life so that at the end of 2014 I can look back on all the great memories I have had and all the new things I have seen, done, learned or heard.
Go on vacation this year with my husband. I saved the money for a 2013 vacation and he was too busy to go. The money is there and I am crossing my fingers for a 2014 vacation. I also want to lose 14 pounds and continue to walk on my breaks and lunch at work.
I'd like to reach my goal weight in 2014 (which I do think is doable) and have an exercise routine I stick to (more likely to fail at this, I hate exercise!) and this weekend my husband and I are going to go over our 2013 finances and make our 2014 financial resolutions.
For 2014, I plan to beat my depression, get off meds, and wipe out my $10k credit debt! I know I can do it, and my wife and I have a solid plan in place. Looking forward to a great year!
I want to be able to do TEN PULL UPS be for the end of next year. I have gone my whole life never able to do one. I signed up for scarf aerial classes at a family friends gym. There for I will have some one holding me accountable to showing up.
Eat my FROGS! I am paraphrasing a quote that is attributed to Mark Twain...
If your job is to eat a frog, eat it in the morning.
If your job is to eat two frogs, eat the bigger one first.
I am horrible about putting off (procrastinating) unpleasant tasks so I am going to focus on "eating frogs" in 2014! Happy New Year everyone!
Be fit and reduce the spending by 10%.
Get my finances and papers in order.
Save $12,000 by the end of the year! And be better at keeping in touch with family and friends.
My goals for 2014:
- Meditate daily.
- Complain less.
- Notice one moment each day where I am totally and completely content.
- Travel!!!
My resolution this year is to eat healthier on a budget!
My goals for 2014 are to build my credit through responsible use of my brand spankin' new credit card, and to build up my savings again after a big out-of-pocket dental expense this year.
Another goal is to take a class for fun this year. I'm thinking pottery or modern dance!
