I would add about half to my savings fund and use the rest to pay for some of my blogging expenses - like site hosting, design and more. I would basically use it to invest in myself!

to answer the question from Hedgeable's Wise Bread giveaway, if i won, i'd use the money to buy a flight to see my mom in Oregon. i haven't seen my own mom in 4 years. that's so depressing. she's the only parent i have left. life is too short to not see family.

Answering the Wise Bread question: If I won $1000, I'd use it to buy Christmas presents for my family and I'd also use part of it to buy food and toys for a local pet rescue shelter.

I buy everything on Amazon! I would use it to buy Christmas gifts, but I also love Amazon's subscribe and save program, so I would use it to buy normal items throughout the year and ease my budget.

Wow, what an amazing giveaway! If I won the $1,000 Amazon gift card I would buy a high quality food dehydrator I have been wanting for a long time. I'd also buy some food items that can be expensive, such as nuts and seeds. I would buy a few books and some emergency preparedness items. And then I would give the rest, probably about $400 to one of my favorite non-profits, such as The Cookbook Project or the Rape Recovery Center (in Utah), to use for needed supplies.
I would spend it on some Christmas presents and put the rest towards regular amazon purchases.
