Change Jar Savings is the natural progression from a previous blog I had called Getting Ahead in Life. Getting Ahead in Life was started at Blogger.com. I wanted to shorten the address because GettingAheadInLife.blogpot.com was to long for me to remember, so how could my readers. I went to register the domain name GettingAheadInLife.com. And it was already used by a reseller trying to make a profit. So I needed to come up with a new name for my blog. It took several months to come up with one that was meaningful and easy to remember. One year after Getting Ahead In Life was started, I finally came up with Change Jar Savings. Like Getting Ahead in Life, the purpose of Change Jar Savings is to share information that I have come across, in some cases used to help make my life better both financially and in other ways. I like to share these with you, so your life may be better to. About Me: I am approaching mid 40s. I have a wife Cindy, three adult children and two grandkids. It was hard being under 40 and being referred to as Grandpa but now it is no big deal. Topics: The topics I cover are various. It may be a good deal I found at a store. It may be about finance. It may be about productivity. It may be a life experience of mine. It may be something I have researched. It may be something someone else has blogged about and I think it is worth sharing.
