I am a “recovering” corporate banker who used to believe that “all things” money could be captured on a spreadsheet. Fortunately, in the year 2000, God introduced me to His view on money. He revealed His role as owner and my role as steward. I’ve been “in recovery” ever since.
After my stint in the banking arena, I served four years as a church stewardship director in Texas, where I developed and led seminars, workshops and in-depth financial counseling training.
I also worked for Crown Financial Ministries seven years, served on the executive leadership team, and was a frequent co-host on Crown’s weekday radio program, MoneyLife.
My husband, Joel, and I live with our youngest daughter in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. We moved here 3 years ago, leaving our 3 other children (2 are married and 1 is in college) in our home state of Texas . I love being “Gigi” to our grandchildren, going to family camp in the summer, playing Chicken Foot in my free time and eating good Mexican food anytime.
