I've always loved to spot a bargain, but when I moved in with my husband it became a necessary part of life. I was born a paraplegic due to Spina Bifida, and the cost of medical care soon forced me to learn to make any frugal decision I could. I've learned ways to save on medical care, basic living expenses, groceries and even gift giving. I want to focus on living a good quality of life for the time I have remaining, and not feel like I am sacrificing, but I want to make wise financial decisions. My blog was created to help those with disabilities and to help parents of children with special needs cope with the rising costs of medical care by teaching them methods and organizational tips to help them save money so they don't have to cut corners on critical things like medical care, housing and utilities.
