Unfortunately, I can never seem to find the time to sit down and come up with a budget that seems realistic and easy to follow. That’s not to say I don’t know I should do it, it’s just that I haven’t. And, I don’t think I’m the only person who has this problem.
Thankfully, I’ve discovered that I don’t necessarily need to have an extensive budget in order to save thousands of dollars each year. You can have a general understanding of your finances and still implement plenty of money saving tactics!
In all actuality, it’s relatively easy to save a ton of money each year – you just have to know where to start.
With that in mind, I have started Saving Without A Budget, which will hopefully be a great resource for people to find very simple ways to save very large sums of money, as well as allow me to editorialize about current issues regarding the economy and personal finance.
I promise to not spend much time on my soapbox!
In order to come up with the money saving tips I’ve pulled from the following three items:
My background in finance – I have a degree in finance and work with numbers for a living.
Real world experiences and observations – I’m always trying to find new and creative ways to save money in every facet of life.
My love of being frugal – keeping my hard earned money is probably my favorite thing to do.
What you do with your “new” money is up to you. Whether you invest, save, take a vacation, buy a new car – that’s your choice. The fact remains that by following many of these tips, it’s a choice you’re going to have to make!
I hope that this site becomes a great resource for you to find simple ways to save lots of money!
