**Congrats to Kyle (comment #2)!! You have won the conference pass! **
Do you blog? If you would like to learn more about monetization, networking, and taking beautiful photos, you will love the annual I_Blog Conference taking place again this year in Perry, Iowa! A three-day conference loaded with speakers armed with tools for all aspects of blogging personally and professionally, it's designed to bring together bloggers in the midwest to help them shine.
I'm speaking at this year's conference, and my topic is Collaboration vs. Competition (how to overcome the competitive landscape of blogging and use it to help move you forward). We'll have lots of info on approaching other bloggers, working together on projects (ebooks, communities, and podcasts) and finding profitable models for taking your rivalry and turning it into blog business growth. We'll have some fine examples of bloggers who have partnered with stiff competition to create alliances that have earned them notoriety and money!
My session is just one of over 15 different opportunities to grow your blog. Additional speakers include top blogging authors, PR professionals, photographers, videographers, and even a lawyer to help with those pesky copywriting and trademark issues.
This conference is focused on the Midwest, but anyone who can get to Iowa can attend! Guests can check into the Hotel Pattee at a great rate. You can learn more about ticket prices and accommodations at the official I_Blog website, but Wise Bread is giving one lucky reader a chance to win a ticket!
To be entered to win, just comment on this post with what session you would look forward to if you won! We will pick one lucky winner to get a conference pass at no charge, compliments of the kind people at the conference.
Please note: No transportation or accommodations are provided. If you can't get to the conference, located in Perry, Iowa, please do not enter.
You have until this Saturday, October 16th, at 10 pm CST to get your entries in! One entry per person, please.
Good luck! And we'll see you at the conference! (Note: I'm bringing along all five of my lovely kids and my husband to this year's I_Blog. Please let me know if you'll be in attendance. We'd love to do a meet-up! Get involved in discussions on the Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/IBlogConference It's a great place to find a roomie if you need one!)

I would love to win a ticket! Have never been to a blog conference but it sounds like a great way to learn more about blogging. As for the session I would like to attend, it's a tie between your collaboration vs competition session, and the session on using social media to grow your presence.
I really wanted to go to blogworld, but it didn't work out for me. This would be a great opportunity to attend a blog conference, and is quite close to me. The Iowa wine and beer session would be great! On a more serious note, the transparency and blogging session looks interesting to me. And of course the collaboration vs. competition...;)
I would love this opportunity to attend a blog conference! I am new to blogging and could use lots of tips. Your talk on competition may very well answer some questions I've had for quite awhile. I'm also interested in learning about how to attract a sponsor.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
Every session looks wonderful! My favorite would be 'Finding Your Authentic Voice' but so many others are right there. What a great conference! Thank you for the opportunity to attend. :)
I'm thinking 'overcoming writer's block' is right up my alley... and Perry is a short hop for us, as compared to most big cities where gatherings like this are held. We don't have a blog yet but are seriously considering one for the near future, and this would be great information to have at our disposal.
