Finally! A Pair of Easy Solutions to Constantly Untied Shoes

Everyday without fail, I’d pick my son up from school and his shoes would be untied, the laces often wet and muddy–eew. Sooner rather than later the little caps on the ends of the laces (a.k.a. aglets!) came off from being walked on constantly. Sigh. Something had to be done.

After a little research online, I found two products that folks said worked well for them. They’re essentially the same thing with different clasp systems, as you can see from the pics:
