Six years ago, Hubby and Son went to Uganda on a mission trip. They built a schoolroom for AIDS orphans for one week, then went on a safari for a week. I foresee several of those trips in retirement. Throw in a quilt store and I'm happy. (Not that I expect quilt stores in Uganda, but there might be one in South Africa!)
My dream vacation would be a food and wine tour of Europe with a friend. We'd spend a few days in each country sampling the different dishes and wines and tour vineyards. I think I'd probably want to spend a little longer in places like Switzerland and Italy to take in the scenery and culture, not to mention the desserts and baked goods.
My dream vacation would be to swim in the many seas of the world. My daughter has been my ideal travel partner, but I would bring my husband for some.
Up the Gold Coast Highway off of highway 89 in the Sierra Buttes in California there s a collection of 66 lakes and countless trails to hike.. I'd like to spend a month exploring all of the natural beauty that is available without a price tag! One needs to just show up!
My dream vacation would definitely be Disney World! I'd sync it up to a small trip to the beach as well, but mostly the focus on Disney and just enjoying pretending to be a kid
For only 20 bucks me and my BF could go on a daycation/vacation and go to the Chincoteague National Seashore and buy ice cream afterwards in town! (No need to provide a picture of me in a bathing suit, haha.)
I would travel to Tanzania and hike Kilimanjaro for a week, then go on a safari in Serengeti National Park and hike through Ngorongoro Crater. Lastly I would travel to Lake Victoria and see the largest lake in Africa.
I don't get to travel since I have stage 4 lung cancer. My dream vacation would be with my whole family going to Senoia, GA, where The Walking Dead is filmed and touring and, hopefully, getting to meet some of the cast, especially Norman Reedus.
My dream vacation is to go to the Caribbean and bring my husband with me! It would be a romantic getaway!
I would take my children on a mission trip to a developing country. Ideally, we would serve in some capacity for a few days so my children can gain some perspective on the world and learn to help others. Then, head to a resort or nice hotel for a few days at then end to relax and stimulate the local economy.
I would love to go back to Atlantis in the Bahamas. My husband and I went there 15 years ago and always talk about returning.
I would like to go cross country skiing in Colorado with my mom for my dream vacation!

My dream vacation is a road trip in Europe with my family
How would you spend your dream vacation? Where would you go and what would you do? Who would you bring with you?
An over water bungalow on an exotic tropical island with Mrs. Jay!
I've always loved to visit Sanibel Island, it's perfect, quiet for relaxing and getting away from the crazy city life. The island is quaint, family run businesses and not overwhelmed with them.
My dream vacation would be a month in Australia checking out the wildlife, exploring the outback, and wine tasting with friends.
On a beach on a tropical island.
I have a bunch of friends across the country with similar interests - knitting, relaxing, reading, solving the world's problems. I would love a trip central to a beach, great food, bookstores and near yarn shops offering fun knitting workshops where we could all gather together. That would be a dream trip for me.
I would love to hike the German Alps and stay in the little huts along the different trails in the mountains. It would be great to eat regional food and meet others who are also hiking. I would go with my boyfriend and we would enjoy all the beauty of the mountains and surrounding landscapes. And of course we'd indulge in a nice pint or two of beer.
My dream vacation would be to fly in outer space. Live on a space station for a few days and enjoy the view.
Through hiking the Appalachian Trail and/or seeing the Orangutans in their native habitats in Indonesia.
I would love to go to Ireland with my husband! I have never been. We planned to go several years ago, but my Dad was very ill and passed away, and I didn't have the heart to go after his death. I had my husband take our son, and they shared a wonderful experience, but I hope I get to go some day.
I would spend my dream vacation on an Australian safari.
I would love to go all around Europe to see all the different countries and cultures. I would love to see England, France, Spain, and Italy. I would love to see Norway and Switzerland too.
I would love to go around and see all of Europe. I also would love to go and see Norway and Switzerland.
My Dream Vacation would be to take my sister to New Zealand and Australia for at least 3 months. There is so much to see and do that we would need a lot of time to go everywhere and do everything on our bucket lists.
My dream vacation would be to go to South Korea to visit family and eat all my favorite foods!
I would love to take my daughter to Disney World one day, to see the amazement in her eyes would be so incredible.
Years ago, my dream vacation would have been a sightseeing tour of Europe with my husband and a tour group. Now I can see what I want to see in books and DVDs and it's almost as good as being there. Plus I don't need to feel guilty about flying or deal with the aggravations of traveling. A few years ago I very nearly had my dream vacation. A little before my oldest child graduated college, my husband and I and our four children went to Club Med Sandpiper, an all-inclusive resort in Florida. I loved not having to keep taking my wallet out. There was plenty to do for all ages, including supervised kids' activities, and we could easily and safely split up. We never had to discuss where to go for dinner because there was a giant buffet for every meal with something that appealed to everyone. About the only thing I would change is I wish there were more room for water activities. And maybe a waterpark. Not having to leave the grounds was so relaxing.
My dream trip is to spend a month in New Zealand with my sister as my travel partner. We have traveled all over the world together through long term careful planning and saving. New Zealand is not out of the question!
My dream trip is Disney World with my husband and kiddos, just having fun, and relaxing, and enjoying a fabulous fantasy world for a few days.
I would love to go to Italy and spend time in the country as well as go to Rome and Milan!
I would go to sunny Hawaii!
I would backpack through Asia and Europe for a few months and hike the Annapurna circuit in Nepal with my husband.
In 5 star hotels and michelin starred restaurants! A fantasy vacation/trip would be the only way I'd ever get to travel in such luxury!
My husband and I would love to visit the Netherlands, especially Friesland...this is where our ancestors originated from. We'd love to ride bikes, meet relatives, try the foods, travel all over.
This year I'd love a trip with my girlfriends from high school to the Gulf Coast (also lovingly known as the Redneck Riviera). It's a chance to unwind, reconnect, and catch some rays with my oldest and dearest friends.
I want to explore Central America. I've been to the beautiful Mexican state of Quintana Roo, and I'd like to go to Guatemala for my next trip to that part of the world. I'd love to explore the ruins, enjoy the day-to-day life, and of course have a beach (or two!) while I'm there.
I would love to take my family on a mission trip to some of the countries in South America, to see the beautiful countryside and the small towns and the Indigenous people, to be able to help communities in need due to poverty and to help make a difference in someone's life. I want to see and have my family experience first hand some of the struggles and problems of this region. There are many things that are taken for granted here in our country that are not as easily helped in many of the small towns of South America due to logistics and extremes of poverty.
One of my dream vacations is to go to India and see the TajMahal. I am planning to take this trip for my next big birthday. I would love to go with my best friend.
We would eat the native food and see the other sites.
My dream vacation would to go to New Zealand. I have fantasized about it my whole adult life. I would probably take my daughter, who would love this trip as much as me.
I would go to Hawaii and spend it golfing every day!
I am working right now on planning my dream vacation to Hawaii! We are going to the Big Island in the fall to see the volcano and to do all the other typical tourist things like go to the beach. I have been dreaming of Hawaii for a long time and decided to make it a reality this year.
I am using airline points to get the best deal on flights that I can. I will spent one week in a resort timeshare condo and another 5 nights in a more rural vacation rental house. By doing a lot of our own cooking we can save big $$. I will give our food some local flair by visiting the farmers markets and buying local at the grocery store.
Our big splurge will be a helicopter tour - just because I have always thought that sounded fun!
For me itwould be to go to tokyo! I love everythin about Japanese culture
I would rent an apartment in Melbourne and use that as a home base for exploring Australia. I'd drive up to the Gold Coast, hike the Blue Mountains, and spend time wandering the city. The trick would be to live like a local and just take in the place.
Any island with turquoise waters surrounding it. Bora Bora comes to mind. I would take family and/or friends.
I would go to Santorini Greece and then travel about the area and enjoy the local food.
I just spent it last summer with my wife on our 25th anniversary road trip to Vermont, New Hampshire and Boston area for two weeks doing various side trips, eating wonderful sea food, visiting some amazing places over a two week period. I save $25 a month from her paycheck and mine and $25 a month for 25 months and paid for the trip CASH.
I would either go to Prince Edward Island and visit all of the L.M. Montgomery (Anne of Green Gables) sights or I would go to Ireland (I was born on St. Patrick's Day). I may make it to Prince Edward Island someday (I live in Ohio), but I doubt I will ever make it over to Europe ever again.
I would go to South America with my husband
I would love to do a volcano tour in Central America, particularly in Nicaragua! I would probably travel on my own, but would love to have a friend join me.
My dream vacation would include Scotland, Ireland and Wales...

I would go to New Zealand and explore!
i would like to go with my husband (not sure about my baby son! lol) and we would go around the world
My dream vacation is anywhere on a beach at an all-inclusive resort. It might not be the most adventurous, but I like to have everything taken care of and not a worry in the world while on vacation.
I would spend it on a culinary tour of Europe! Would love to see Italy, Paris, Netherlands and London
My dream vacation is visiting all the Hawaiian islands with my husband!
I would love to go on a road trip and see the Grand Canyon some day.
Would love to go to a tropical island!
I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. I'd love to visit Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai and the big island of Hawaii. I'd spend a week on each island experiencing as much as I could in that week. Of course, someone else would have to pay for this because it's a "dream" vacation.
I would go to Cabo and lay at the beach
I would go on a gourmet cruise to Antarctica.
I would spend it on an Alaskan cruise!
I want to take a trip to Norway
Lots of outdoors time with my husband! No cell phones for us - just some sunshine, fresh air, and hikes. And of course some great food and massages too
My dream vacation would be to travel Ireland.
