I like to relax in front of the TV.
meditation!
Nothing beats sitting out on the deck, watching the birds at the feeders and enjoying a nice day.
My favorite way to relax is cuddling with my cats
I enjoy so many things since retiring. Not being under the pressure of someone's goals other than my own is in itself relaxing. During the Holidays I enjoy watching some good movies with a cup of tea maybe with the fireplace lit and if possible with friends and family. Whenever I am overwhelmed, I close my eyes, take a deep breath and meditate for at least 1-5 minutes. That usually is enough.
Reading a good book and magazines is one way that I relax!
My favorite way to relax is reading a good book book curled up with one of my cats with a cup of iced coffee. It's nirvana!
Going for a walk if I'm overwhelmed at work usually helps. At home, I prefer to read, particularly something less serious.
I love meditating and doing yoga to relax, preferably in the mornings. The last time I had an exam, a few weeks ago, I got pretty anxious and meditating helps me to relax and feel more centered.
My favorite way to relax is grabbing a cocktail with friends. I like to relax after work. I'm overwhelmed every weekday on my commute and at work. I unwind when I get home.
The most relaxing spot for me is the beach during the late afternoon when there is a nice ocean breeze. It gets quieter as most people head home for the day. That is my favorite place to relax. Unfortunately I don't live near a beach, so I usually just relax with the tv or a book
A good book and a glass of wine.
My favorite way to relax is a glass of wine and a nice bubble bath while listening to my iTunes playlist. I try to do this at least once a week or when I feel really overwhelmed from a stressful day with work.
Every day I set aside some time in the evening to unwind. My favorite thing to do is read. I check out books from my local library to save money on this costly hobby. I average about one book per week. I also make sure to relieve daily stress by exercising five days a week - I love the Esmonde Technique by Classical Stretch.
I felt quite a bit of stress recently when my daughter wed. I made sure to allow time each day for some reading and for my exercise routine.

I relax by cuddling with my cats or reading.
After work, if I'm feeling stressed with anxious energy, I like to roll out my yoga mat and just do some stretches. If I get home and I'm feeling stressed but under the weather, I'll turn on my heated mattress pad to a high setting, take off my shoes and crawl under the covers for 30 minutes with my eyes closed.
playing with our two wonderful cats
I love dedicating time away from my phone and computer, even if it's just for a hike or a walk around the block. It's incredible how much more aware I am of my surroundings when I don't have a constant buzzing or dinging sound competing for my attention!
It's usually a rush to change, get dinner started, feed the cats, etc. when I get home from work. My favorite thing to do to relax is just to forget those things and be present and chat with my husband. It just happens, nothing planned or forced. Sure puts things in perspective and the rest of the evening is so relaxing.

I like to get out in the natural world - away from modern society. Being with friends and family while hiking at a National Park or walking through a great forest, is a wonderful way to reconnect with the important things in life and relax.
I am a working mom, so about once a week, I ask my hubby to take our daughter out for a while and I use that time to just relax - I turn on music and just sit and meditate with some chocolate!!!
I relax with a good book. This works in nice weather and not so nice weather. Fall and Winter, I enjoy a cup of tea with my book.
