Editor's Note: Congratulations to Robynn, Allison, and Thomas for winning this week's contest!
Each person's finances is different from the next — and so are our taxes. If your financial situation is simple and straightforward, you can probably file your taxes on your own. If it's a bit more complicated, however, you may be more inclined to hire a professional (or ask your tax-accountant cousin).
Who is filing your taxes this year? Did you go this route last year? If not, what made you decide to change it up?
Tell us who is filing your taxes this year and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card!
We're doing three giveaways — here's how you can win!
If you're inspired to write a whole blog post OR you have a photo on flickr to share, please link to it in the comments or tweet it.
Good Luck!

I always file my taxes myself.
I always file my own Taxes because they are not complicated!
My husband is filing our taxes
I'm filing my taxes this year same as every year. It's easy enough to handle myself.
Turbo Tax
I will use a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteer.
As a former military member, I always got my taxes done by a discounted tax prep company on base. Now that I am out and newly separated from my husband, I will most likely use H&R Block.
I'm having them done at H&R Block Premium, the company that is also handling the taxes for my fledgling LLC.
The enrolled agent who is working with me on the latter has gone way above and beyond in the past year: helping me understand what kind of corporation to become, handling my payroll, writing three letters to clear up an IRS claim that I owed money (I didn't, but would probably have caved and paid it after the second letter if I were doing it myself). He has also held my hand (figuratively speaking!) through some other new-business issues.
I would recommend using a tax software instead of hiring a tax consultant. It's really straight forward if you just think through your expenses throughout the year and any significant capital movements.
We have an accountant. Helps prevent tax rage.
I've finally bowed to the inevitable: with a new one on the way and not nearly enough hours in the days, I'm working with a CPA to file our 2014 taxes.
i always take advantage of the free e-file...the IRS offers many options but i like using the same one year after year so my username and password are easy to remember. it's always free (i make so little money, i am way under the maximum income limits) and i have peace of mind. it's easy and any refund gets put automatically into my checking. easy breezy and FREE. and did i mention free? you get my point.
Who is filing your taxes this year? Me doing it myself as always.
Did you go this route last year? Yes.
If not, what made you decide to change it up?
Same as last year, myself using freetaxusa.
Unfortunately, I file our taxes. I am an accountant after all.
We have a friend that is an accountant that gives us good rates
I'll be filing my own taxes this year just I have every year since I've had to. I actually enjoy doing it & view it as a chance to review my finances.
ME!
I'm filing them myself for the first time this year! My dad has done it for me in the past.
My taxes are fairly simple, so I file them myself.
I'm doing my taxes myself this year. I did them myself last year too. I don't have the money to pay someone else to do them. Actually, I'm going to an info session in an hour about how to properly do my taxes because as a grad student, I technically don't earn "wages" so it is confusing as to which part of my stipend is taxable.
I efile mine myself!
My husband, for which I am grateful--I'd really rather not do it myself!
We're filing our own taxes.
My husband does our taxes every year online.
I am filing my taxes this year and have been for many years.
We recently switched to a professional when our taxes got too complicated. I am so glad we did. Our tax pro saved us lots of pain, aggravation, fines, stress and it was worth every penny.
Turbo Tax software for us.
I'll be using my accountant again. It was a complicated tax year and I don't think I can handle it on my own.
Our accountant files our taxes.
I do my own taxes. I've used TurboTax for longest time, but might try some new software this year. Based on what I am seeing on Amazon, H&R Block seems to be the top DIY tax software this year.
I will be TurboTaxing it again this year. We have extra quirks this year because of an inheritance but I hope it will work out.
My husband is doing our taxes this year.
My husband files the taxes and i fill out the Fasfa - fun!

My husband--using Turbo Tax!
I am learning from a CPA friend how to file my own taxes this year! Great way to learn and save myself the money to pay someone else to do it.
We are in our late 40s and have always done our own taxes. My husband and I both have backgrounds in accounting--I minored in it in college whereas he was a finance major with a couple accounting courses--and we still and will always do ours using paper forms/booklets. It is interesting because he works as a financial analyst, and all the guys at work use paper forms! We both find the paper route much more logical and helpful. We know we are dinosaurs but we really prefer the paper!
An accountant who we have used for years. I am self-employed and it takes away some of the stress of doing it having our taxes done by a professional.
I will be using my CPA.
I always file my own taxes with the help of Turbo Tax deluxe.
We do our own taxes.
I do my own taxes with filing software like Turbo Tax...
I will file myself, using TurboTax online. I've done it for years and it's easy.

I file my own taxes using Turbo Tax software.
I am doing them myself and free filing. They are not a complicated tax form.
I am doing my own taxes online. College major, go to work!:)

My husband and I always do our taxes together and file through TurboTax. We've been using them for the past several years and have been very pleased. Makes it as quick, easy, and painless as possible.
my sister (my accountant) will file my taxes this year
I will be filing my own taxes this year.
I'm filing my own taxes this year, thankfully! Last year I had to pay for upgraded software that could help with LLC filing. I don't need to do that this year so filing my taxes should be way, way easier and faster.
I am using Turbo Tax for 2014 taxes as I have done for the past ten years at least. And, yes I do them myself.
I (husband) used to use TurboTax until their forced upgrade for 2014 taxes. Switching to HR Block.
Me with the help of Turbotax. We have consulting income and I'm not looking forward to it one bit.
This year we will file ourselves, without assistance from our accountant.
We file our own
I'll do it.
We've used TaxAct every year for a while now. It works fine and I like having the online records.
Me and TurboTax! And they're already done!
I file my own.
We have a financial adviser we've used for many years.
I will be filing with the help of H&R Block Online Deluxe, since TurboTax has decided to remove some of the functionality from their Deluxe version, which I used for years.
I have a fantastic accountant who has helped me for the past three years. The staff at X-Tax is personable, professional, and efficient. http://x-tax.com/

Usually I do my own taxes. But I got married in 2014 and my husband started a small business. So we are going to look towards an accountant to get our paperwork together and taxes files.
My father-in-law is a tax preparer. (And all it costs us is a package of Peeps!) Plus, it's a great time to visit the grandparents -- it's all good.
I will be preparing and filing our taxes this year along with a little help from TaxAct as I do every year, simple as 123 and it works for me!
I file my own taxes through the free turbotax option online.
