Being an amateur Minimalist,... I will try to keep this trend, and will see where I'll be in 2013.
We are starting out 2012 with a more steady and higher income than 2011, so I'm really looking forward to getting our debts paid down and repairing our credit.
Getting healthy and loosing weight!
In 2012 I am most looking forward to paying cash for our family vacation, Paying our daughters university bill in-full for the whole year, building our savings back up by being even more frugal, and hopefully having my daughters doctors find the right course of treatment for her to feel much better so that she can continue to have a wonderful university experience! Also, I would LOVE for there to be found a cure for Type 1 diabetes, which my son has, which is an auto-immune disease, totally different than Type 2. ~ Melinda
I'm looking forward to a missions trip to Honduras. I'm going with a group to help in an orphanage for 10 days -- SO COOL! Can't wait!
Other than that, I'm looking forward to warm kayaking weather, a trip to Disney World that our family has been saving diligently for, and summer breezes in my hammock.

I am looking forward to buying a house. I think I finally have everything in order so that I can buy a house without any pressure on my financials. It will actually be cheaper then what I am paying for rent right now.
I am starting a new job, which is going to mark a major change in the direction of my career, and which requires a move to a whole new city. Talk about a fresh start!
My only plan right now is working to pay off some credit card debt I have accumulated. After that is accomplished, I will look into what other financial goals to set.

It has been a difficult year of health and finances - one compromising the other. I am looking forward to building up my strength in health and finances again. I hope to pay off 2 credit cards this year and to be strong enough to go camping and motorcycling again!

For the first time ever, I'm going to track my spending. Believe it or not, I'm kind of excited about it!
1) Pay off at least one of the two credit cards I still have a balance on.

I will be debt free in 2012!! Woo-hoo! I just finished paying off my student loan, and December 30th will mark my last credit card payment to bring the balance down to ZERO. I really trimmed the fat off my budget this year, and it paid off big time. My next goal is to boost my savings to be able buy a house in 2013.
Looking forward to getting my new career in gear! I started a new job near the end of 2011, and I can't wait to get better and start moving up.

Best advice I can offer: get an internship before you graduate. It could potentially turn into a job (and at the very least will give you some more experience on your resume, which never hurts)!

I will have our student loans totally paid off by December 2012 and will be out of debt except for the house!
My boyfriend and I are going away for a 5 day vacation to Sanibel Island in the middle of February, when Ohio will likely be buried under ice and snow. I loathe winter, so this is going to be a much-needed getaway! By the time we get back, it will only be a month before the trees begin to bud and crocuses poke up through the snow. :-)

We just moved in to our new home and have set up our new budget for the year. I am very excited to see how the changes we made will impact our savings goals.
